This was the year Pink broke out into her own (at first she was the white girl trying to be the R&B chick) and gave a huge "**** you!" to most pop stars out there. So, I think that's why she was honored that year. The VMAs love breakthroughs just as much as comebacks.

I can't quite explain Choreography, but that's a technical category and usually anything goes there. Plus, I don't want to get on Ace's bad side.

CKB had amazing cinematography. Only Girl was a smash as well as LTWYL (MTV stanned for that collabo) and WMN. Surely AOTL and LTWYL will be up for best collabo as well as E.T.

I honestly don't think she'll win many, but Rihanna has been smashing this past era. I know MTV is obsessed with GaGa and Katy Perry so I really wouldn't be surprised if she was snubbed. Then again, RiRi called MTV out for the Man Down neglect. And they're either going to do two things, kiss up to her or blackball her.

They can. They have reasons for rewarding artists for things other than quality. What I'm saying is, it was Pink's huge breakthrough year as an artist, so that's why I think she got a lot of votes, even if they were undeserved. That's just my theory on her wins over "I'm a Slave 4 U."
