Most of the biggest gay militants are not flamboyant queens. Of course this group is really important because they really raise the flag, but i don't see them as the big names of the fight, i thank the gays who try to show the world that they're just like everyone else.

All my crushes have been for men that act like men. I don't have a problem with fem gays, I just find some gays who act like that to be too catty for no real reason, from personal experience of course, however I wouldn't mind a few more of them just as friends.

Then the problem is with the people doing the stereotyping and discriminating against people based on that, not the ones who are acting true to themselves instead of feeling obligated to conform to some socially constructed gender role.

There obviously are gay people who happen to fall closer in line with that gender role and can be true to themselves just the same, but those who aren't that way shouldn't be derided.
