There's no point releasing Wish You Were Here if she won't have any promo. It'll probably do even worse than Smile, just because of how bad that one did. She needs massive promo spots, and I don't think RCA is prepared to do that for her.
Wish You Were Here needs to be feautured in a movie, tv comercials, and she needs to perform it on Ellen, Oprah, and VMAS, maybe other shows. Otherwise don't bother.
It would be awesome if WYWH and Cheers by Rihanna were released during the same period.
The I'm With You sample would make some buzz around Avril just when her strongest song from GL is coming out
BTW, I think that RCA will promote WYWH more than Smile... isn't LA Reid starting to be the "boss" (or whatever) of RCA from this Autumn?

They'll definently have more faith in WWYH. No one expected Smile to do well.

Yup. Hopefully he stops focusing on getting Ciara to switch labels and helps out someone who still has a shot at a success instead.

Smile is one of the worst songs on the album. Dark Avril > Poppy Bratty Avril.

She removed her pink streaks when she shot the WYG vid so yes, hopefully she'll do the same on WYWH.
