Gaga has always been a
pop art pop artist. She lists Andy Warhol as a direct inspiration. He copied the same commercial iconic images over and over to show there's nothing original in art these days, but that doesn't mean it can't be good.
Gaga is doing the same thing, except with pop music. She's remixing all of her inspirations and emerging as an artist on her own.
