They would have to watered down their sound to get it, though. "Need You Now" and "You Belong With Me," for example, had pop mixes to get crossover success - which was weird considering their original sound had enough crossover appeal to do it alone. I don't like the fact that country songs have to be remixed to see crossover success, and in most cases, it's frowned upon in the country community. So, I seriously doubt we see many crossover country acts, especially males.
