This is true, but now is not the time for Y & I, it should have been released in Winter or at least late Fall....now should have been MTN.

I don't care about its chart performance in places outside of the US.
The VMA performance is what I'm afraid of.

I actually feel like August/September will be a great time for Y&I. Maybe it's because I live in the middle of mountains, farms, big fields, etc. but You and I reminds me of late summer and early fall. It's a nice song to drive down back roads with the windows open and take in the sites of nature.

I wish people would realise that she can't keep releasing dance pop songs forever. She has to mix it up now and again, to expose people to the other side of her music. Madonna often took risky choices with her single releases and while in the short-term it may have resulted in "flop" singles(Oh Father, Bedtime Story, Human Nature etc), in the longterm, it made her singles catalogue look so diverse and interesting. I think it's time GaGa did this.
So many of you are WAY too hung up on chart positions and radio updates that you've lost sight of the wonderful music GaGa has delivered. It's such a shame. Music is not all about charts and hits.

In response to someone's comment about YUYI with the Ü, just because YUYI had that weird letter, doesn't mean that YOÜ AND I is the next single. Thought it may seem like a clue, but it's really impossible Interscope would allow her to release a single without looking at the good/bad sides. To be safe, I hope she releases "Hair" instead, which also fits to the mermaid theme.

She needs to make this performance to be remarkable, gain people's interest once more. Likely, she will be a mermaid. I hope her vision of mermaid is the good, happy mermaid (Topless or shell bra) not the ugly, scary mermaid.

Idea:
A big pool with great underwater details and some fishes swimming in it. A glass box with air in the middle. The box is actually not a box, but a shell where a piano was built in and she sits inside of it.
She wears a tail and long hair that hides her naked breasts and performs You and I.
