Most people aren't saying things like "my cousin hates Gaga but likes You and I therefore everybody likes it" (well, at least I hope not
). Several music critics have noted that this will probably appeal to more audiences and it's not such a stretch if you consider its 80's (glam)rock vibes, which are much more commercial if you look at society at LARGE. Most people who think "music's all garbage nowadays" might give this one a listen if it's on the radio.

Exactly! I have the same gripes with some complaints about some of her perfomances lately ("repetitive", "same songs over and over again", etc.) while there are people who probably don't realize that the average non-fan (but maybe casual listener) US citizen is never going to see what she did in Europe and Asia, for example. You and I will be a brand spankin' new song as far as the public's concerned.
