Somebody mentioned that the video could be about Katy chasing/stalking a boy with a real peacock. It would be funny I guess. What I really DONT want is a cheerleader video. Duh I aint hurr for that!

A lot of girls people my age love it, but for the shock factor. I think it would wear off fast, the song got old extremely quickly. There are too many cons.
If she must release a song about an animal next, make it Hummingbird Heartbeat. It's nearly as infectious as peacock.

The more time passes, the less appealing Peacock becomes as a single. The only singles left are Hummingbird Heartbeat & The One That Got Away. I've been changing my mind, & I do see the potential in TOTGA despite it being the worst song on the record imo.

Duh I know.But you know labels.They want to milk money as long as possible. Especially when you're getting smashes easy as Katy. Re-release would be a "suicide".

An album like The Fame or Loud benefits greater for one because they aren't as hit-packed, per say (TF had Starstruck left but that was about it). But albums like Teenage Dream or Femme Fatale don't need them because they could go for 6-7 singles without one.
Animal as well, because after the 4 they released they were out of smashes. RvR was questionable.
