I'm not surprised, when she aired on Victorious it sent her single flying to the Top 5. And they air her Victorious episode like every week. Whoever thought up the idea to us that show as promotion, deserves a raise. Even Victorious songs come back to the Top 100 every time they air a commercial for it.
Anybody else think this summer has been lacking on certain definitive summer songs? "Give Me Everything" and "Party Rock Anthem" are definitely summer songs, but they're old and overplayed at this point. The only songs I can think of are "Super Bass" (also pretty old at this point), "Last Friday Night" and "I Wanna Go". In other words, nothing great. "Good Life" also but that's definitely the oldest song in the top 10.

I would have to agree. I mean, last year we had two definite songs of the summer: Love The Way You Lie and California Gurls. They were ubiquitous.

Party Rock Anthem will be the song of Summer 2011. Unless Katy does something.
