I'm shocked at the backlash. I think the era has been handled greatly. He's had great promotion, granted more around the album's release, but what can you do with the situation he's in commercially. The single's have all been great. I think it was obvious "Wet The Bed" would come too.
The hiccup is on Pop radio not embracing anything beyond "Yeah 3x", or "Beautiful People".
was bp sent to radio/a single? and i still don't understand why he released next to you ugh.
!!!!! This. I can't with him having to release a generic club song to get played on pop radio. That and Jive should've released She Ain't You to pop earlier. It was finally starting to pick up on pop but it had already peaked on Urban and Rhythmic by that point.
Pop radio is such **** these days. I remember back when they actually used to give Urban songs a chance to crossover. Now it's like they're too scared to even touch it.
I don't think it was ever officially released in the US. I could be wrong, I know it was overseas but I don't recall it ever having an adds date here. I just know that radio was spinning it, it made it just to the top 50 but I think it was more because of the dance\club scene than regular radio.

It should be released.
I say make BP next pop single, WTB next urban single. That would be soooo perfect.

I ****ing know right! Urban songs have no chance on pop anymore unless they reach the top 20 on billboard or something. And by that point they've already been out for months and have been played out and peaked on the urban stations so it kind of defeats the purpose of a multi-format smash
So now we get artists like Chris Brown, Beyonce, Usher etcc releasing two singles one pop and one urban
I'm actually hating it, just release a damn single and let it play everywhere, people would enjoy the music if it's good.
EDIT: post #1990 my year of birth lol and we reached 100 pages
The only good period was between Yeah 3X and Look At Me Now, that's when Chris let a very right amount of time (around 4,5 months) before he is safe to release FAME and Look At Me Now !
Yeah 3X and Look At Me Now are the only 2 singles that got handled right for this era !

I'm beyond hyped for the today show, but i'll be so upset if chris is going to perform older songs!! i hope his "team" *spits on jive* realised there is no need for a LAMN & Yeah 3x performance.
It should go like this:
She Ain't You(for it to climb on itunes)
Wet The Bed(new urban single)
Next 2 You(without bieber probably, but he MUST perform it)
and a random song from the album, i hope he'll try All Back, you might NEVER know how people will respond to that song, it's really deep!
but..he'll probably perform his regular set...so therefore, don't take this seriously, haha
