"Hold It Against Me" hit #1 in about 16 countries.

"Femme Fatale" is the third best-selling album released in 2011 worldwide and she never even left the states.

Her performances have been getting good feedback and everyone has been saying she's heavily improved compared to her last era.

The tour is for the fans. And she has never discriminated anyone.

That wasn't my point of the thread. I'm not bashing her...

It was just a simple question if Britney should have had retired at her best and be remembered forever like that, or reach an all time low and be remembered that way. Because obviously, she isn't getting better (Well, the videos from the Femme Fatale tour are good, hopefully she'll keep improving). And there's a slim chance that she will be back to amazing people again and performing above the mediocre level.

But I forgot this is ATRL. Everything has to get blown out of proportion.

I don't think Britney gives a **** about the public, love. She hasn't gone on a talkshow in what seems like a decade. If SHE wants the INTEREST, she would get it in a fraction of a second because she's Britney Spears. She could have gone on Oprah, did all the crap Beyonce, Katy, etc. do, and gain back all the interest and more. She doesn't want to. She's here for the fans. She won't RETIRE because Femme Fatale didn't go platinum on its first week.

Second, a #1 single. Followed by a #3 single, with her third single on its way to the top 5. Her tour doing great with outrageous ticket prices.
