Her US sales are atrocious. The way they just did one week of promo, then moved on for the past 2 months is just ridiculous. Especially given that the album is a tough sell. They should have found ways to promote w/o her being here (like Beyonce @ BETs).

At least, promo seems to be working in other countries (UK, Japan mostly), so I hope that when she's finish with that global tour and comes back in the US for good, the sales will come back to normal.

There's something wrong with TEOG that keeps climbing in AI but her sales decreasing of about 20% each week.

Maybe, they felt promoting BTW oversea during the summer, where there isn't that much opportunities in the US, was a good thing. They should promote it everywhere when the summer is done until the new tour starts.

I don't care if it has already outsold most of the recent Pop records or if it had a 1M+ opening week: her sales are falling down too fast and it won't keep selling just because it's Gaga. (USA, not WW)

No. There's not much promo oppertunities now in the US. It was a smart choice promoting the album WW now, and then back to the US.

Plus; promo in the US doesn't do that much tbh. See the UK, where 5 minutes after she performed the album went back to #1 on iTunes and then #1 on the official charts with a huge increase, or Japan, where the album is back to the top 3 selling 50k. The album will start stabilizing soon in the US.

The US is fickle. Just a little more promo, and it should do the trick. Most of the other releases ahead of her don't have that much longevity anyway.

The WW promo was a great idea, no doubt. And it worked (UK and Japan as you said).
But seeing the effect of no promo in the US left me a little worried that sales won't be back to normal when she starts promoting again
