And it's a success - not the flop most were making it out to be.

She's going to get a lot of respect for this. She won't win, but I think she could pick up anywhere from 4 - 8 nominations this year.

I honestly believe that Robyn deserves a couple of nominations this year. I usually don't go for the indie acts, but Body Talk is a pretty solid collection.

I Am... Sasha Fierce was her least acclaimed album, yet it's her only album to get an AOTY nomination. That had a lot to do with her album producing multiple hits and having longevity.

Damn.

I love Sasha Fierce. IMO (and I know that Imma get panned for this) it's her most fun and varied album.

If Countdown/End of Time are released before October, put them in R&B Solo and send 1+1 to Trad. R&B.

He's screwing himself by releasing two albums in the time frame.

Plus, MBDTF is honestly his least successful album yet. (808s and Heartbreaks might have sold less, but it produced TWO big hits.) His latest was dead by December, and never produced one Pop and/or international hit - a first for him. All that's keeping it alive are the reviews.

If they're not going to give Kanye the win, the least they can do is give him the nomination. But he has been nearly invisible this past year. I hope they nominate him, unless Watch The Throne comes in and swoop the nomination up. Lil Wayne will be releasing something. We'll see.

Well, there aren't many songs that can be considered hits to release on that album. It was very experimental in some aspects and that's not necessarily a good thing.

I think the album is overrated by critics as a way to sort of supplant him to a normal level of stardom after his tragic "fall from grace" during the VMAs.

This year, in POPULAR music, has been all about the FEMALE.

No way only one woman is getting nominated. Not when there are a PLETHORA of options from multiple genres (Adele, Gaga, Bey, Krauss, Taylor, Robyn, Lykke Li, Bjork, even Nicki)

I don't think any country albums will be nominated this year.
