But Americano is the epitome of what Gaga's trying to do with her fame. The Jesus Christ line is integral to the mood of the song because she's saying I don't agree that God hates ****, you know? I think with a good video, maybe the continuation of Paparazzi and Telephone, it could smash. The only people who'd have a problem with the song is Americans, where as the rest of the world wouldn't care as long as it's catchy and it's very, very catchy.

I got into Born This Way when the album came out. I was never a huge fan of the song at all actually when it was owning the charts worldwide, but then when I listened to the album I was able to appreciate how very different it is from the other songs on the album.
