But Americano is the epitome of what Gaga's trying to do with her fame. The Jesus Christ line is integral to the mood of the song because she's saying I don't agree that God hates ****, you know? I think with a good video, maybe the continuation of Paparazzi and Telephone, it could smash. The only people who'd have a problem with the song is Americans, where as the rest of the world wouldn't care as long as it's catchy and it's very, very catchy.
And the US is her biggest market.
Anyway, it's inevitable that there will be flops so idrc which songs will flop.
But I believe Americano stands a huge chance of doing so.
I'm not worried about TEOG's chart position in the US anymore; it has already been at #3. What is more important now is longevity. As long as it continues to sell loads, I will be happy
