"Bad Romance" does have the better video, yes.

I even heard it was held by some as "The digital era" song, is this true?

True. I've never seen a case where the song and the video cannot be taken alone like BR. To me, Bad Romance is a whole - video and song.

Actually, Bad Romance is probably the only song that I almost cannot listen without watching the video. All her other songs (or other artists), I can just play the song on iTunes, but not this one.
But, Bad Romance needs the video
*Watching*

When Bad Romance video just came out, I was hypnotized. I just could watch it and watch it and watch it all over again. It didn't happen that way with the other videos, but I love almost all of them (except TEOG...)

Bad Romance is a far superior song but Poker Face is still her signature song.

When it came out, I played the video non stop over and over again for weeks. When Telephone came out, I loved it so much, played it but came back to BR after a while. Same thing with Alejandro. I still play it.
For the BTW era, the videos are not as addictive I haven't watched them a lot of times. Actually, I think I've watched the BR video more times since February 2011 than the BTW+Judas+TEOG video combined

Is Poker Face still her most successful single to date? (chart wise, sales wise, etc)

In the US; "Just Dance" is still ahead in sales but "Poker Face" will surpass it soon.

See, it all starts with Bad Romance, yeah? So, the demo leaked, and I was in my OBSESSED-WITH-GAGA stage. So I loved it (still do), and I was doing this dual enrollment program to where I was taking college classes at this college (where I go now, lol). I then met this guy and he became my, "first." Well, long story short: he turned out to be a douchebag who led me on, and I instantly bonded to Bad Romance (clinging to all these bad characteristics about a person because you're too afraid to lose them [Well, I never really had him, but at the time I felt like the connection was real and that after giving him one of the most precious things I could offer I was absolutely distraught).
Now, then we have a long period of cycles where I was being promiscuous in order to get over it, had a few boyfriends, etc,. (and several encounters with him most of which were embarrassing).
Then GaGa comes out with ****ing Judas ironically at the peak or climax of my entire "relationship" (I use the term loosely, not romantically) with this guy. And y'know, it's about being in love with the bad guy and everything so I instantly bonded to it (This was shortly after I got so drunk off of some rum that I told him in front of his entire fraternity that I was in love with him apparently, and then after he walked away I ended up crying in the floor until my friends picked me up. It also took them singing GaGa to me to get me to quit crying. I ended up going to a dorm room where I cried until I passed out. This is all what my friends tell me because I have no memory of any of this, lol).
So because of all that, I was bound to love judas.

OMFG, when the Bad Romance demo leaked...I could NOT stop listening to it. Tbh that's the only song I would listen to for about a few days straight. I still think the demo is better than the finalized version of the song, but I love both versions.
Awww. Gurl, that guy sounds like a ****ing douchebag. You deserve better and you will get better, I'm sure. <3 Wow, it's amazing how music can be there for somebody during sucha hard time. And usually Gaga's music is a bit difficult for some people to relate to, so that's cool that you can relate to her songs, even if there isn't a good story behind it.

I've written several papers about GaGa, lol.
In my AP English class last year, I wrote a short story that used Lovegame/Bad
Romance/Pokerface lyrics as a stream of consciousness (We were supposed to imitate the style of William Faulkner's The Sound and the Fury or w/e). I did the same with Bad Romance/Judas with my most recent English class last semester.
Made A's on all of em. lmao.
The guy in question isn't a bad guy. He really isn't (defending him, still, damn, lol). If anything, he's still immature and has a lot more to learn. I was just one of the casualties that have resulted from his poor decision making.

Not to mention IFPI disagrees with these foolish mediatraffic numbers.
