Bon Iver is a band and was featured on Kanye's "Monster." They are eligible for Best New Artist as well. I think they will make it into AOTY because I can't think of any rock/alternative album that has that impact to make it in. Foo Fighters and Radiohead came and went. Bon Iver had a strong first week opening (104k), strong critical and industry support, etc. They will swoop in like Arcade Fire. I don't think they're a "lock," though.
