Just because one can write songs doesn't make them any more talented than they actually are when the materials they pen are nothing more than a shallow one. It's the same thing with Taylor Swift, she rights her songs sure, but I wouldn't call her a talented songwriter.
And please don't get me wrong, I enjoy several of her songs, Blah Blah Blah being my favorite, but not in my lifetime would I call the song 'quality music' and none of the songs she writes are. I'm not dissin her, it's just my opinion, an unbias one.
And I stan for no one, I love The Beatles and Eminem, but I won't say they're flawless musical acts. They have their shortcomings, and I define 'stan' as being a blind fan who thinks everything their idol does is the best thing since slice bread.

Anyone that writes a song is already talented. A song is quality when people can connect with it and make them feel like what the song is trying to make them feel.
I might hate taylor Swift, but I can admit she is talented. SHE WRITES HER SONGS ALL BY HERSELF... I can't say the same thing about the ones you love.
Not trying to bash your opinion, but people that think they know what "quality music" and "talent" is just irks me. They come off as just plain old annoying hipsters...

It may sound bias, but The Animals/Cannibals on ATRL are the best stanbase, in my opinion. They are friendly and embracing while quietly and consistently keeping the Ke$ha album thread(s) relevent in Music News -- they're just all-around chill lil' hipsters that rarely, if ever, report anyone... but WILL drag a b****h, if anyone starts tah-tah-tah-talkin' that...
Standout Members: What It Seems -- for reppin' Kingdom Hearts as well as being one of the first Cannibals I encountered along with TakeItOff! and Hooligan. FAN -- a fellow wild child and rabid misfit of the group. Mr Hitokage -- for making an epic first post in the Ke$ha - Animal + Cannibal Thread and then mysteriously disappearing. CroNich and J effSuxx -- for always having the best non-animated avatars of K-Money. Hello, xChunk, Yourfavefan, MrMinum, Erik, Ra2, leon86 -- for being elusive Cannibals I never get to see enough of, but I know are always around. TiKToK, Georges, $erbert, IAmCannibal -- for being the crazy beautiful newcomers. pOP FaN -- for sometimes getting me confused with FAN. яunDevilяun -- for being a fallen monster and making an iconic transition to being a superior Animal. iLays -- for his steady and constant concert attendance. Eegigyy -- for having one of the hardest names to pronounce in the clan. And to everyone else, because really all Animals and Cannibals are standouts.

kesha stans are humble, and rightfully so. Most of them are really nice and just fun.. One of the best stanbases on here. Some are incredibly delusional though... Almost worse than some Brit stans.

She is a talented songwriter. I mean she is writing songs for not only herself, but for other artists.. and they keep going high on billboards.. She isnt writing songs for deep meaning and all that ****.. SHE IS WRITING TO GET TO THE TOP OF THE CHARTS.. and even if u dont want to admit, that takes talent.. there is no way crappy lyrics will get u too the top..
Same with quality music. The point of it is that you can connect with the song. She writes songs so you can be yourself and have a great time. That is exactly what me and millions do when we hear her. There is no way non quality music will get you there.
You just have that kind of mentality that u know good music and everything else is crap (hipster mentality) ... so kinda keep that **** to youself..
