I think Lungs came out in 2009, but 19 is a 2008 release.

Lungs was officially released in 2009, but was out by 2008. In fact, the first single was released a year before the album got an official release. Even a 2nd single from the album was released in 2008.
But to the three 2008 albums that are still selling like hotcakes!!

Looking at the album sales to date for Katy this year, I'm hoping that her label is currently cooking up some kind of plan to increase her tally next era. Promo for the singles has been good but I'm sure they want an all-round artist with her.

IT will be interesting to see what they do with her next era, because it's going to be hard to get her singles sales up to par with this era. But they also need to get her album sales equal or higher.

I think they should keep the image the same way it is, just re-invent her persona with every video as she she has this era. But perhaps what she needs to do is land a big nationwide endorsement and do something super scandalous.

I would be for the nationwide endorsements and less for the scandal...I dunno I hope that CTD can give her that little scandal. Peacock would be too much,
