i know her team originally said they were trying to push 6 singles but i dont think thats gonna happen anymore. they prob expected the CD to debut with higher numbers (at least 350k-400k) and if its certified platinum in SHIPMENTS a couple weeks ago then they prob expected it to be platinum by now. also i bet they thought HIAM would shift more than just 1.35 million single sales. i honestly expect only 1 or 2 more singles depending on IWG's success and if FF sales hold up

No. They did that to give it good word of mouth in the industry, and the fact that it may reach that eventually. It was certified Platinum after only 4 weeks of release, before it went Gold. I doubt they expected it to randomly pick up and be Platinum by now.

But I agree that a re-release of some sorts would be essential in the Holidays, to bag in some nice sales.

Drop Dead will be a bigger hit if released more than IWG (best released after Criminal/HATLM). it played ONCE on commercial at radio tv while my sister is at the computer. the next day all i heard of her was "cause your beautiful drop dead". love l
