Believe it or not, but Cyndi Lauper was seen as "more talented" than Madonna and she was taken far more seriously in the '80s, but guess who beat the odds and had way more longevity? Madonna. Though Cyndi Lauper is still visible and respected today.
Christina's obviously more talented, but I think Britney's always gotten the better pop songs.
But "Come On Over" is really good.
I feel like Britney's music has always been infinitely more enjoyable than Christina's. She tries, but I feel like a better producer could fix her and perhaps teach her how to use her voice on a pop track.
OT- Just ate the best tuna sandwich ever. I used The Challah bread i made 2 days ago, glazed one side of each bread with a mixture of olive oil, tarragon, with a little creamy caesar sauce. Then I put the two slices in the oven to toast. For the Tuna I used Starkist Tuna Creations Sweet and Spicy I added rosemary, a pinch of sea salt, black pepper, and Mayonnaise.
That was absolutely the best Tuna sandwich I ever had.

Watching Transformers Dark of the Moon right now, found really good copy
Madonna made such a great transition from cutesy songs/image to maturity.
She went from pop girl to pop WOMAN.
I always think that it is so funny to imagine that this stupid girl dancing in a white background and singing "YOU MUST BE MY LUCKY STAAAAR" was the same girl dancing passionately in front of those burning crosses. Again, she was the one taking control of her own career.
