Is Gaga really on her fourth single already? "The Edge of Glory" is standing steady on the charts and after the relatively boring music video, it would take a miracle to push it any higher up the charts than its current peak at No. 3. The Rolling Stone-crowned Queen of Pop's platinum selling Born This Way album has a lot to work with, but what should the fourth single? Some of Gaga's most memorable offerings from her third studio albums would more than likely be terrible as single choices: "Bloody Mary" is much too "out there" for even Gaga to release as a single; "Government Hooker" suffers from the same problem as Britney's "If U Seek Amy" and Katy's "Peacock" with its political and sexual undertones; "Scheiße," which translates to "****" in German, has the potential to be deemed explicit on the radio. Gaga has two choices: "Marry The Night" or "You and I," which she plans to release a music video for. Previously announced as the third single before "The Edge of Glory," "Marry The Night" would serve as a perfect single choice with its radio-friendly spirit and message designed to be an epic music video. If Gaga doesn't release "Marry The Night," it will end up being as idiotic as releasing "Alejandro" as a single instead of "Dance in the Dark" was.
Gaga has 14 choices to be exact... It's up to her.
And tbh all of them could be terrible as single choices. There's no definite HIT (I assume they're talking about Top3)
- not even MTN.
