Absolutely NOT. "Hold It Against Me" had basically been forgotten by the time Femme Fatale hit shelves and "Till the World Ends" was basically just as much of a flop as "Run the World (Girls)" by the time Femme Fatale hit shelves, so the situations are VERY similar.

HIAM peaked at 1 then dropped like a rock. S&M Remix came out after Femme Fatale and Till the World Ends wasn't a true hit until the remix which came 2 weeks after the CD release.

Actually the opening week promotion is virtually the same for Britney and Beyonce.

Let's also take into account that 4 leaked even earlier than FF, and most of 4's music wouldn't even perform well on radio. The fact that Bey can match FFs sales w/o a hit record and w/o any dance music or Dr. Luke speaks volumes.
Lets not even get into Britney. Beyonce will probably sell more first week, and that is with the support of two HARD flops (so far). Britney had a big first single and a big second single emerging when the album dropped.
Beyonce basically, like Jennifer Hudson back in March, sold off of her name. Lets not pretend Girls or BTINH made anyone interested or had any impact (so far - at least for BTINH).
I'm happy for Beysus but here's my gripe... she peaked on her 2nd album in first week sales and the decline is dropping lower and lower with each album.
Beyonce should be EASILY scanning over 500K per album first week with a hit or not. She works her ass off and this is all she gets?
