She's giving these images of herself way too quickly.

She had the short curly blonde hair for the BR video, too, the lavender blonde hair, the mummy costume or whatever the **** for the AMAs, the cartoonishly huge shoulder pads for Jay Leno, the lobster hat, the telephone hat, the bat costume, the red Elizabeth dress, etc. She's always changed her image around, and with TFM there weren't that many televised performances because she was busy touring, so maybe that plays in to it as well.

The BTW era has been going for almost four months. Out of that I would say you really have the facial prosthetics, the half-black/blonde hair (which includes the Eye of Horus makeup), and the teal wig (which includes the Versace). Not sure what the hooker, unicorn, and tribal looks were. Some looks leave an indelible mark, others are quickly forgotten. It's a matter of self-screening perception.

The Michigan lawyers' publicity stunt is all over the local news. The fact that Gaga will never sue the **** out of them back pisses me off.

The average American thinks French is the language of love and German is the tongue of Satan.

I simply used Bowie as an example because of the alien theme she had going. (Although, Marilyn Manson's Mechanical Animals was eaten up by the critics even though it largely resembled Ziggy Stardust, so I don't think she would get TOO much flack.)

i agree with you. she should have something CONSISTENT for us to remember. Not a messy image. I'm okay with evolving from era to era, but don't be hypocritical and go against EVERYTHING you said in the era before.

No German... The title, yes. But that's it.

They should edit the beginning (similar to the Mugler-Remix)...And rename the song since no one knows how to pronounce or spell it. -> Shiza

I agree that French, when English people try to speak it with an accent, is very sexy. But, German is just .. aggressive.

I knew from the chorus we got at the VMAs that it was going to be a cheese fest...I just didn't know it would be rotten, putrid cheese.

It's a pretty ****** song lyrically (and instrumentally, but the instrumental is at least manageable). I figured it would just be that song and that she's just getting her message out with the lead single. But nope...Hair and Bad Kids are also on the album.

Edit: And The Queen.

 Dirty liar!
It depends... I've heard some funny agressive French. German is just not easy to pronounce..

People acting like 3/14 songs define an album lyrically.

The point is, she was consistent with TFM+TF, and was very smart about the imagery. She also used the looks for a long time. She's given to many images for this era. Has she already moved on from the horns? Has she already moved on from the half-white/black hair? Has she already moved on from the short blonde hair, short bangs, no eye brows, and heavy eye shadow and eye liner look? Is she gonna continue with the jeweled eye make-up or is she done? She hasn't worn it the last few performances. <--THESE THOUGHTS ARE NOT GOOD. And there's a diff between this eras looks and the last eras, it's more extreme. If it's extreme, REPEAT IT. The way she moves on from every image within a matter of 2 interviews is a waste of something people could remember her for. It's just messy. It's unexciting, and it's TOO different. We are not shocked anymore. It's being wasted, when it could be burnt into our heads LATER.

And that is why this era is messy. It's also how she contradicted everything she said during 'The Fame' era (about IMAGE, and how IMPORTANT it is); proving she has not changed as an artist, it's her brain. It is not functioning the same way. Kayyyyyy.....................

To be honest, I think your all over-anaylzing it all. Its her career, if she wants to destroy it.... then its all on her. If you think you could do a better job at managing her career, then maybe you should campaign for the job.
