True. The third leg of the tour was not a good idea because she needed to stop, go away for a few months focusing on her album, performances, style ecc.
The first week sales were good because there's still an high demand of Gaga, people wanted new music, but in the long term 'Born This Way' won't have the same 'The Fame' longevity. This is also a reason why a really big promo campaign was built around its release together with the fact that the album doesn't have a really big club-banger/commercial song.
Now I only hope that she won't be on tour for three years again (I know, it's where stars make $$$ but still...)

Scheize may be a song about feminism but that won't affect it from being a hit. Americano may have a political message in the lyrics but most people won't pick up on that.
One of them or MTN has to be the next single.

I wish Judas would have been accepted and became the smash everyone thought it was going to be. When Born This Way released everyone was like "I can't believe how successful this is! Just wait until the RedOne single comes out!"

Lady Gaga had been touring for THREE YEARS. That, in and of itself, is draining. During those three years, she also promoted the **** out of the "The Fame." She wrote and recorded "The Fame Monster" and promoted that. She wrote and recorded "Born This Way" and began promoting the **** out of it before the touring was even over. And as soon as the touring was over, she put out the album, directed the videos, continued promoting, etc. Not even a small break. That's ridiculous. Especially for her, who's not the kind of pop star who shows up to the recording studio and asks, "so what am I singing today?" like 90% of her contemporaries.
