I feel like the next album can be a mixture of Rated R and Loud.
I really hope she does next time around...or at least puts some urban stuff on LoudR (specifically more dubsteppy songs like wait ur turn). Don't get me wrong, loud is great and rih is really known for her pop records...but her heavy urban stuff (what little of it there is) is what keeps me satisfied.
Her versatility is undeniable I would love an album chock ful of random sounds and styles

Thats the direction I hope Rihanna will take next, and hopefully with a song where RiRi is rapping with her Barbadian accent... (I can only dream...)

Te Amo managed to hit number one on the Brazilian airplay chart for SEVERAL weeks before the album even came out.

Loud from beginning to end is a pop record. There are elements of other sounds but it maintains its pop root in each song (even a little bit in man down). Nothing is wrong with that but I think rih shouldn't restrict her sound as much I would love a full hip hop/r + b album (that will never happen )
Where on Loud is there Rated R except for Skin (which I voluntarily skip each time I play the album) and Man Down?
I hear Rated R influence on Fading, Man Down, Raining Men, Skin & Love the Way You Lie, Part II. Fading technically fits more with GGGB but I hear certain things in the song that remind of Rated R.
Also, the way she sings the songs on the album are stronger, like Rated R. Her vocals on GGGB are nothing to be impressed about.
I think if Rihanna would have another year-off I think I would die!2009 was so boring without her.In 2011 is different we have some new music from other artists but in 09 we had only Beyonce and Lady Gaga!
