I doubt it will last long, personally. I mean it has no Urban or AC appeal, so it's locked into pop and rhythmic on radio, so that will hopefully shorten it's reign. On top of that, it's been selling big for awhile, so eventually that should start to dwindle. Katy just needs some promo, and you know Capitol isn't about to let this #1 slip away.

Like I said before, I don't know much about LMFAO. So, I looked at their stats, and found that their songs weren't that big. I wonder why this song has become so big when it's not that different from their flops.

Give Me Everything is strictly Pop and Rhythmic too (with some Latin support) and it's sold 200K+ for the past 5 weeks (and probably sold around 190K this week) so I'm not sure about that. Other songs that were Pop/Rhythmic and still has consistently high sales for over a month were We R Who We R and Like A G6.

I do think Last Friday Night is going to have its shot too though. Capitol has a plan. They haven't messed up this era and they're not about to make a mistake. They want that 5th #1 as much as we do, if not even more.
