It's pathetic that people believe this. She made $90M last year, the last thing she needs is a couple of hundred thousand dollars from a charity wrist band...
I was using the computer with my iTunes playing..
and then my mom asked me if she could check her email for a minute
when TEOG was playing she turned the volume up but when RTW suddenly played she closed iTunes
Nice. And it's also nice that TEOG managed to gain 1.0m in AI from the other formats to counteract the crappy pop updates. Fingers crossed that it's back in power rotation tomorrow, othewise it'll be peaking soon.

Please bump this post when you've done it. Of course only 2 people will request and reply to the post, then the same people doing nothing for her will have the nerve to complain about my complaints. This ****ing post should be bumped every day.
Glad to see such a great result in the UK this week. The smallest bit of promo send her numbers sky high! Hopefully she'll definitely get on X Factor and the same thing will happen to her as Rihanna
I doubt she will go there though. When does it start?

Great, thank you. I believe it could give TEOG a new peak in both the UK and Germany, if it will be still strong by then like it is now.
5 (+2) - Born this Way
30 (+ a lot (was out of daily top 50)) Fame Monster
Amazing! She's also still owning iTunes and All her BTW singles are now in the Recochoku (mobile download) top 20.
She owns Japan.

I also just read that The Edge of Glory will be used as the theme song to a new Drama in Japan, called Jiu. It's a crime drama based on a best-selling series of novels, and it's projected to draw in high ratings, starring several major stars.
This kind of promo is the best you can receive in Japan.

In other words, "The Edge Of Glory" will be her "Miles Away" in Japan and sell in excess of over 500K in the end.

That was my first thought - that this was the equivalent of Madonna's "Miles Away" being used in the TV show "Change".
However, I wasn't aware of how well the track did on the Japanese charts.

'Twas huge - it was certified for 700K in all digital formats combined (Mobile, PC Digital Download, and Mastertones), [I'm guessing it's sold over 800K in total], and was the biggest selling single in a foreign language of 2008 winning 3 Japan Gold Disc Awards for being the best seller in those three formats (top award show in Japan based on sales).
Technically, it's M's biggest selling single in Japan in all formats.
It was the best performance of TEOG to date in my opinion. Even with the lyric flub in BTW, she didn't miss a beat.
I particularly liked the slight hints of government hooker in the performance... I love that song and i hope she does a bad ass performance of it one day.
