Yeah, the chorus is definitely "different" from the rest of the song's mood. It's a nice song but I wouldn't classify it above average.
I wouldn't count on Interscope to do that. They have been pushed to the ground by Gaga before as seen when "Alejandro" was released instead of "Dance in the Dark". But nevertheless, "Marry the Night" should be released because of it's commercial appeal as well as it's unique style which could lead it to become Born this Way's biggest smash hit.
