LOL @ questioning my fandom. Put me on ignore if you don't want to hear it. I can't stand when her stans don't ever put forth any hard criticism of her. So much of the thinking in this thread is geared towards her short term success.

Her delusional stans are another problem, but she cares more about awards/success than she does her fans. Thus, if she stops winning awards for her own personal directing ventures, she'll be more inclined to pay attention to that. And yes, she needs Francis Lawrence but I doubt she will hire him.

Sis I will go HARD for whatever video is nominated. I still love my girl regardless of how I feel about her self-directed videos. Her smile and acceptance speech(es) will easily make up for them.

See, this is exactly my problem. That's false and I don't know why you even bother to call yourself a fan if that's how you feel.
I criticize her often enough. I hate The Edge of Glory video. But WE DON'T KNOW THE STORY. Maybe Joseph Kahn was a total dick on set and she was left to salvage the pieces. Thus, I criticize the result, not the process that went into making it.
I'm SURE she knows that the video was not received well. She doesn't need her supposed supporters "teaching her a lesson."

It actually was received well by the critics, it's just her fans blew it put of proportion, they're bound to want spaceships and explosions. However, they also wanted a simple video, and she gave them one.

Why do people say that so often? I would NEVER want a simple video from Gaga and the only people I saw wanting that from her were those who stopped stanning in TFM era.
The video was well received by the critics, but not because of its special effects, cinematography or something, right?

If she cares more about her fans than she does success, please enlighten me as to why she released the most universally appealing song on the album (TEOG) following Judas' epic flop. Why didn't she release Hair instead? That song is geared DIRECTLY towards her isolated/small stanbase of insecure tweens (that's also why it's the worst song she's ever written).
Don't bring BTW as first single into this either. She thought she could release whatever she wanted this era and the public would eat it up. When she realized they wouldn't (Judas flop), she got smart and released commercial as **** music.

When Joseph Kahn was announced as the director, I remember many fans being pleased not only because she was hiring a professional video director, but also because he directed "LoveGame" and "Eh Eh", and they were glad she'd probably be going back to a "simpler" video.

Don't even get me started on her tweeting links like crazy this era, or promoting the **** out of this album, or touring for hundreds of dates so she can get that $$$$. Money/success will always come first for her, and it should because she's a commercial artist.

Well that's what I meant. I'm SURE she knows her fans are unhappy. Some people were tweeting some truly disgusting things at her the night the video premiered.
