I want her to see the difference between last year and this year - 0 awards for self-directed videos and 8 for professionally directed videos.
Why, though? Judas is a great video and, in my opinion, deserves some awards. I want her to get some professional directors for her next few videos too, but not giving awards to a video worthy of those awards isn't the right way to get that message across.
I actually like it a lot as well. It is good but I really don't want her to think she can get by with self-directed videos.

That would be perfect. She was the queen of the night in 2009 (along with Swift ) with that amazing Paparazzi performance. Same thing in 2010 with Bad Romance winning everything. 2011 has to be about a spectacular performance and few awards

I will be a bit disappointed but it will hopefully be better for her in the long run, which is what I'm concerned about.

From winning 8 VMAs in one single night to zero surely does something. She can say she doesn't care about sales, awards and all that stuff, but EVERYBODY does.

I don't think she deserves to sweep the board this year, but I don't want her to come home empty-handed. I want her to win 1 or 2 awards, but notice the difference between the MTV Bad Romance Awards (is there any point calling it the 2010 VMAs? ) and this year. I need Francis Lawrence to direct the video for Marry The Night. It just has to be that way
