Okay i'm all for gays....i think everybody can be with whoever they want.
Plus, i love my gay friends! they're like the funniest and sweetest people <3
HOWEVER. (For those who do believe in God)
What i don't get is the gay people that go to church. YES, God loves EVERYONE. BUT. homosexuality is still a sin, according to the bible. God loves gay people, he loves everyone, he created us but he doesn't love the sin.
It's like your parents may love you but they won't love the fact that you stole or something.

It's not something to BELIEVE in, it's not a belief, it's a RIGHT that needs to be conceded cause if it's not conceded then you're violating people's equality and freedom.

Honestly, Christianity isn't even to blame for the homophobia in the church and society as a whole.
You can't help but wonder whether peoples' problem with homosexuality and gay marriage is really about the Bible, as opposed to a matter of using the Bible to justify up what is simply an old-fashioned, deep-seated bias.
Naturally, people fear what they don't understand and homosexuality are still foreign to many.

Thank you! It's alright, I completely understood what you were saying, and I agree. I'm glad you brought up those points. I wish more people would realize the facts about Christianity and all of the religions, really. If people formed more of their own opinions rather than what they were taught to believe, I think the world would be a much happier place.

I'm black, so it can't be racist. But, what I am saying is: My people have a history of being beaten and abused for our skin color, why pass that hate on to someone else for who they love? It's like a system of hate that continues and it's just not right to me at all.

I think the reason he hates it is because WE (as black people) have been an oppressed group for centuries.

I am NOT ignorant. 
I KNOW everyone sins. As i recall this thread about gay people, no? That's why i'm asking GAY people specifically. Not child molestors, pimps, etc.
And, someone who is gay will always be a gay.
A thief or whatever, can ask for forgiveness and move on.
But i doubt if you were gay, you'd want to be gay for just 1 day and then move on.
