For starters, you guys sure are pressed bringing up Beyoncé's flop singles, as if it defines her whole career or who she is as an artist. Her album has yet to drop, so I'd hold off on prematurely calling her a flop. And even if she does flop, her talent and career >>>>> Katy's whole existence. When Katy accomplishes what Beyoncé has with the same amount of talent and longevity, then y'all can talk. Katy can't even sing, let alone perform. She can break all the SINGLES records she wants. And that's the only records she'll break.
In this day and age where album sales have decreased majorly, the SINGLES records are actually quite an achievement. So for people bringing up album sales, it really is insignificant right now.
Well done, Katy. I hope Katy gets that 5th #1 just so she can match MJ's record.
