I basically agreed with all your points, I'm just saying there's no need to insist that everyone get on the same page. Just address the specific gripes and say why you think they're unwarranted if you do (which you did) rather than simply taking umbrage to the fact that people are griping at all.

The label told her she has sold 5M albums, meaning they have sold 5M albums to retailers, which means they shipped 5M to retailers. The retailers have sold 3M of those 5M.
