I think honestly, 'Hair' and 'Marry The Night' will go number 1. But as stated by other members, this album isn't here for singles. Look at TFM. No number 1's in the US but it still outsold Teenage Dream and Loud for like almost 2 years! I love that Gaga isn't a singles artist.
I can't foresee any scenario in which Hair goes #1. TEOG had much better sales in its release week and it still won't get to the top.
Marry The Night is one of the songs on the album that has been a huge grower for me. Prior to the album release, I felt like it might be the one song I remember this era for (just from the instrumental in Gagavision). After it was released, I liked it, but it wasn't a huge standout on the album like Government Hooker/Heavy Metal Lover were for me the first time I listened to the album. I'm pretty sure it's now one of my Top 3 and maybe secretly up with Born This Way for favorite song on the album, even though I don't talk about it much.
I hope so, but it seems like "SuperBass" will jump over it. And maybe that 'The Voice' song.
I don't think it's possible for Super Bass to pass it at this point, they're selling about the same and TEOG is 15M ahead on radio.
I don't know about the TV song though.
So, so true. It's *better* than a commercial album. I don't want an album full of cookie-cutter #1 hits like other artists. I want brilliant pop music and that's what she delivered...in spades.
True.
I'd rather this album than TF any day. I'd rather Gaga released songs like Judas and TEOG than GME and PRA. If it costs her a high chart placing, so be it. She's going to make a tonne of money from touring anyway, so she can afford not to sell huge amounts of singles...
There are no songs left on this album that are guaranteed anything other than a hard time.
Don't say that about Marry The Night
Scheiße would be a risky choice, but when you remove the extensive chanting at the beginning you are left with a highly appealing song. Depending on the radio edit, it could be huge.

I cannot get over how much Gaga looks like an extra from Cats in your avatar.
