You're kidding right ?? IMO, Hot 100 is not that important because that chart include sales+Airplay+streaming. This only show popularity of song, and could be done with some tricks (payola,discounts, Rih-mix ...)
On pop songs chart, she already has 7 #1's .. and pop is her home format, how could she miss that ? Plus, topping the pop chart show how relevant she is within the public mind.. Afterall, airplay is more important !! It will influence Hot 100 chart also ..
I don't know about you, but I do care about chart, cause it will secure MM's position in music industry and make her relevant. If public lose interest in her, do you think her label will ever let her do her own stuff again ?? Try think more deeply ..
