Beyonce has worked hard for her success that she has today. so have other artists, but Beyonce DOES have that the professional work ethic and all in one bundle you would expect to even name her our "best performer/singer of our generation" She has it in all 1 package. And the hate that does come to Beyonce is so watered down that your argument does becomes invalid.

I am not pressed though.. I admit to not knowing the history of beyonce performances... but I do know that I have seen other artists eg: gaga, do a better performance then beyonce's billboard show...

I will come back when I have seen another performance.. But for now I stand by my point where there are better performances.. and I know there have been better performances then gaga's

As for being the best of our generation, I really do feel as if Kelly and Michelle are better vocalists and performers.

Michelle's voice is ugly and plain annoying unless she is singing gospel.

Kelly's voice tends to crack , her range is limited, & tends to be pitchy & off-key at times.
(BTW, what key was Kelly singing in "Motivation")

Beyoncce stays pitch perfect, her range is wide, she has perfect control, perfect clarity, great vibrato, really versatile, & not one dimensional.

No. Her performances are all very forgettable and her performance at the Billboard awards was only talked about because it was a copy of another performance. I have never seen her do anything original either. I will say that she has potential to make at least one iconic and original performance though but I doubt it will be this era.

Beyonce is the better visual performer. Amazing stage performances, great music videos. But Christina is still the voice of this generation for me. I don't care if, according to other people, she strains or oversings. Her voice is just more fantastic and mesmerizing than Beyonce's.
