I think I understood the concept that they were fake, but I always thought they'd somehow come out of the tv and get me. I remember falling asleep during Halloween on Halloween, and my dad sent me upstairs by myself to go to bed... and I stayed up all night with the hall light on... watching the door... waiting for Michael Meyers to come through it and kill me...
