No need to extend Loud which has already seen 5 singles released and is on it's last legs.

on it's last legs? It's still moving 50k a week worldwide - that's significantly more than similar pop releases that have been out for awhile (Teenage Dream or Femme Fatale)
However I do agree that Cheers is the only single that's really worth releasing on the album. Fading could do alright I guess too -- maybe, but it's hardly a release that NEEDS to be done. So that only leaves Complicated, Raining Men, & Skin - which none would be good pop singles.
A re-release is a good idea. Loud has been selling really well and they should capatalize on the fourth quarter -- a hit single would do wonders for it's extensive life during that period.

A Loud re-release won't make it as a good as GGGB.

Now listen. GGGB has "Question Existing" and "Say It" which already makes it worse than Loud.

Right? Soon, there will be nothing left to drag. She will eventually get that #1 album, a spot on Forbes, #1 on Maxim Hot 100, her 20th #1 single, etc. Of course, the haters will always be here. They'll just become more delusional and talk out of their ass more than they already do.
I hope the re-release songs are on GGGB:R level - where the re-release songs **** on 99% of the original album.

Umbrella, Take A Bow, & Disturbia are better than Louds entirety. Not to mention the epic Dont Stop The Music & Breakin Dishes.

This is a little random and off-topic, but I've never understood why people prefer 2007-2008 Rihanna over 2010-2011 Rihanna. I've always loved her, and GGGB has and always will slay me, but she was (for lack of a better word) generic back then. There wasn't a whole lot that set her apart from all of the other female artists, other than her voice and the whole "I'm from Barbados" thing. She didn't have much of a unique style, and her hair was the only thing that really made her different. She was forced into Beyoncé's shadow during that time by the media, haters, and even some fans. As a stan, I would never want GGGB (or even Rated R) Rihanna to come back. She has shown so much artistic growth over the years, and she is now a household name. Her music, videos, voice, and style have evolved, and to want the "old" her to come back would be incredibly selfish and silly. And even though I hated Loud for a couple of months, I don't think GGGB is better than it. Most of GGGB could have been recorded by almost any female artist, whereas Loud is a Rihanna record. Both albums have their bland/generic moments, but Loud is the stronger album to me. I think the main reason that Loud is disliked by so many is because it was released after Rated R, which is widely considered to be her best album to date. Even a Rated R Part 2 would pale in comparison to Rated R, in my opinion. People are always teasing Rihanna for releasing new music yearly, but I am so happy she does. It proves that she really cares about her fans, and wants us all to be satisfied. She has never been the type to keep us waiting for years for new music, as she sees no reason to. If anybody is against a re-release, they don't have to listen to it. It's that simple. We will never get another "Umbrella". We will never get another "Rude Boy". But that's what being a stan is all about; enjoying the eras while they last, being a little critical at times, and most importantly supporting the artist no matter what.

Rihanna made $30 million last year
Most of that coming from her LGOE tour and Rated R era.
She's going to explode on Forbes top 10 next year.

Slay, ManDown, slay.
I stan for Rihanna because of her growth into the beautiful, talented artist she has become. I honestly didn't become a huge fan until Rated R, & I didn't become a stan until the Loud era tbh. Her care for her fans is great, & she never wants to leave us hanging. We even got to choose the latest singles (which may or may not be a good thing... ).

Man Down is one of her best songs of her career. Raining Men is one of my personal favorites from her, & while some people dislike it, people generally think it's a hot record. Say It is pure crap; not a single track on Loud is completely disposable like that one.

While I agree that Man Down video is the most important video of her career, the song has yet / failed to make an impact.
I actually love "Question Existing" and "Say It".

Even if it doesn't make an impact, it will remain a necessary track to Loud. The album just wouldn't be the same without it.

NOW HOLD UP A SECOND -- You think RIHANNA wanted the re-release?
It's just a plan from DJ to milk even more money from her fans, she probably had no word in this.

Yeah, it would be better. I'd exchange "Fire Bomb" with "Man Down" anyday, if that would mean Fire Bomb getting a single release. Man Down can remain an album track in Rated R.

You will back absolutly anything up from Rihanna (or GaGa), crap or not.
But I do agree Man Down is a pure record but everyone knows Raining Man is a mess & that's why it flopped despite going for add on Urban twice.
RudeBoy- agreed on GGGB being miles better than Loud but California King Bed is an amazing song.
For this new album (or rerelease) I want some hot dance tracks, no ballads please, she has enough so early in her career, and less Urban please. I've been craving JUST ONE Dr.Luke & just one Red One production, less Stargate please & some HOT features on the album by big names. & a new image please. I love the red hair but it's time for a change.

Contrary to popular belief, Fading is NOT a hit and NEVER will be one.

I think we all know, even teh haterz , that the single material on GGGB was stronger but the albums RR and Loud worked better as a whole.
Hopefully the re-release will contain more songs like Mandown and What's My Name and less ballads.
