Considering this should be her "most important album yet", NONE of the videos have been good yet. Bring on the scheisse, GaGa. This time around, hire a professional director.
Those kind of simple video just simply DOES NOT fit "The Edge". This video needed a video that will amaze people, make them feel emotional, make them feel something, not just staring at GaGa dancing crazy at a dark street wondering what the hell she wants from us.
We all wanted something like that. At the end of the day, we all wish that she could have done the predictable. This video will be forgotten in two months anyways. It's such a waste of time to defend it or drag it.
After watching it like 4 times, I don't see any mermaids, crosses, or gays. #FLOP
We all know the video is a mess, but it does have redeeming qualities for some people. For instance, I enjoy this video because Gaga seems to be enjoying herself and the song is all about celebration of life. But once again, everybody on ATRL is trying to shove their bitter complaints down everybody's throats like they actually matter.
Let's not allow ourselves to keep the disappointment in its appropriate context. It wouldn't be ATRL without the knee-jerk reactions. The song blows now, her career is over, flop of the century, etc. etc.
Where are the mermaid operations...the lighting trannys on fire, a burning jesus statue, straight people getting executed, the cholas without their makeup, where's Gaga?
