I'm the complete polar opposite of everyone, as always . Found this on Tumblr:
She tweeted right after the video premiered and said “Never be afraid to dream”, and the rumors were her being a mermaid in TEOG music video. But I think Gaga took matters into her own hands and made the video of her DREAMS, Her, making a music video where she was born, in the streets of New York, THAT was her dream. and she was not afraid of what others thought of the video.
That was terrible. No story line, no dancers, no theme, it was just stupid, boring and I'm really dissapointed.
I absolutly LOVE Edge Of Glory, everyone knows that. And I can't belive my favourite single by her has just gone to waste..with this? she needs a proper director, she's not good enough on her own.
I seriously think it's funny that the one time she does something that everyone here asked her to and that the general public will probably eat up, her fans want to destroy her. For the record, I am not saying it's the best video ever. But by god, she managed to capture the feeling and purpose of that song in that video, and I hope some of you come to realize that.

But not a simple ass video with nothing to say, bad camera works, and emotion free scenes
