The hypocrisy in this thread is killing me.
GaGa is and has always been an artist, she is not a puppet. The reason GaGa was so normal up until summer 2009 is because she was new and Interescope was taking a risk by signing her in the first place considering she was dropped by Deff Jam prior to signing with Interscope. She was not in the position to be directing her own music videos and gaining full creative control over her work and her career. Now that she is the biggest popstar in the world and can have any label she wants, she can do whatever the **** she liked! Directing her own music videos is what she's been wanting to dos since the beginning but as I said she was not in the position financially to do that.
If you want to stan for an artist who takes direction from "professionals" than you're in the wrong place. The reason you stan for GaGa is because of how creative and risque she has been in the past by doing what she wanted to do and ignoring the advice of "music industry professionals". I'm pretty sure those people thought she was crazy when she said she was going to wear a meat dress at the VMA's or go to poison all of the customers in the diner of the Telephone video. GaGa is a true artist, sometimes she creates art which shines through and causes people to praise her as a revolutionist is Pop music and other times she just fails and comes accross as a desperate, weird attention-seeking fame-whoring wannabe tranny freak. If you don't like it then theres always Katy Perry and Rihanna.
