Collaborating on a song... working a album/a video... two cups of tea. There's a difference between adding some sax-/guitar-solo (or vocals) and creating a whole record (lyrics, sound) or a musicvideo.
So why did she hire him in the first place? & why did she scrap her own treatment if the problem was working with Joseph?
The good news about her being an egomaniac and a fame hungry ***** is that should she fall from grace, shell do what it takes to get back up there, including sacrificing control. At least I hope.
Thats a good question for gaga. Why hire a director if youre just gonna tell him/her how to run things?
None of us know what actually happened but if that were the case she wouldn't have scrapped the original concept when Joseph left.
She changed her mind about the video and yes it was late but that's really all there is to it. There was no fallout and there's likely no burnt bridge with Joseph.
