Music video is never responsible for a song success, which can be in term of longevity, what it does help is selling a song for higher charting, making people realize the existence of the song, then whether it succeeds later or not depends entirely to the song itself, if it is good or bad as the viewers can see through the music videos (Run the World )

And it did help Judas from lower bottom 30-40 up to #10 iTunes !
