Well Last Friday Night was really hyped. With that alter-ego thingy thing she had. She posted some vids for it and then the video was released. So I really think that the hype around the song gave it such a boost. Now if only Bey would gave BTINH a little bit promotion.

And no, there is no direct correlation I think. But the image says that more radio stations added Bey's song yet Katy's song was more played.
