I'm still not convinced LFN will go to #1. It is having great AI updates, but it was added by a lot of stations last Tuesday, so it has yet to experience a genuine rolling effect...
I know, that's true. But Katy's stronger where it comes to digital sales. We have to wait for 'The Edge of Glory' video effect
I will be happy also with only one week at #1

I'm just going to wait for it to play out. No rash predictions. Everyone is certain that LFN will go to #1; I don't think anything is confirmed right now. I'll just wait for a few weeks and see how things go.
Anyway...'The Edge of Glory' better go to #1 before 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' explodes or it will block her. Too many party/funny songs out there now
Another factor is that TEOG looks like it will be getting solid support from Pop, HAC, and AC..... I don't know if the same can be said for LFN.
It's more friendly to those formats than E.T. was.
E.T. was a special case though, and, IMO, had a much more mature sound. It relied much more on Rhythmic support though. It peaked very high in HAC, but not on AC.

I just wouldn't bet against Katy on radio at this point.
I feel like Last Friday Night is guaranteed to do well on radio, whatever that may mean. That still doesn't seem to touch on the fact that it appears as if Last Friday Night will be the song to dethrone Adele on iTunes unless Pitbull or LMFAO start making a fast move.
Its Already Top 50 On Hot AC. It Will Be Huge On That Format Just Like All Her Songs Have
I think the thing people are forgetting is that Gaga's AI is 40M+ greater than Katy's. Katy may be a threat in the future, but certainly not at this point in time.
