You people are really too much here (NO PATIENCE) ... you have no faith in single who both still gaining spins on radio ...
The difference between a ballad and a party song is that a ballad needs a lot of audience (at least 40 millions) to impact really well on sales ... Where is CKB ? 13 millions audience .... WAIT & SEE.
And concerning Cheers, 4th single or 17th single, it doesn't matter it will SMASH no matter what ! cause it's a playful party song about alcohol with so much POWER, a simple clip & it will skyrocket on itunes ... radios will follow. That's why Def Jam prefer put a difficult song as a 4th single than a catchy song like Cheers ... 5 or 6th single will be too late to put a ballad or a raggae song.
In my opinion Man Down wasn't meant to be a single in the first place that's why it was sent only to urban radio, the Navy really wanted that song & urban radio was already starting to play the song individually, CKB was the 4th single planned already in the very first place by Def Jam, just like "Cheers" & "S&M" was planned as 3rd or 5th single, remember when Rihanna asked to choose between this two song for the 3rd single, if it was Cheers, Def Jam will save S&M for being the 5th single, but Man Down NOT, just a track album in first place.
I don't have an iPod boo. I can't afford an iPod because I'm a poor student who can't even afford tickets to Rihanna's LOUD Tour, and she won't even come to Cardiff to see me
