but I've always wanted California King Bed released. I was sure it's be a mega smash.

IDJ should send Man Down to pop:cry:
I hope that dual messy mother ****er **** ain't gon happen
She really needs to focus on only one single at one time.
One step at time plz!!!!!

Man Down is #18 on Rythmic & #21 on Urban, far from one of the biggest bullets, and it's in the 70's on pop, that's why it's iTunes position sucks.

She's been lazy and dumb this era, to be quite honest.
CKB is a ballad. It requires promotion. Look at how much Katy performed Firework in comparison to her other singles. Rihanna performed CKB way too early on AI, and then completely ignored it when she opened the Billboard awards. That was plain foolishness, and not something I expect from a star of her caliber in their sixth year in the music industry.

Fading is not going to happen. When will everyone just let it go. Fading does not have the appeal of CKB and would not do any better. I said from the beginning MD is far too risky to be a single, but foolish stans had to bombard Rihanna's twitter saying it must be released, so look what happened.

Rihanna signed a contract for 6 albums at DJ. I hope she leaves that mess after her 6th album.

I think Rihannas fans are just spoiled. Most artists don't go past 4 singles, & you already have 5 in less than a year.
I honestly think Fading would do MILES better than California King Bed is doing right now, & Man Down would probably be huge on pop. But Cheers is the mega SMASH. Get Avril to cameo in the video

I know that Def Jam are really messy when releasing singles, but... I just think they are like Rihanna's family! I would actually be devostated if Rihanna left Def Jam, just because I don't know where else she would go, and... I just don't want it to happen.
Although, if Rihanna went to Katy's label, which makes Katy promote the **** outta her singles/albums, then I am sure we will get over 20+ #1 hits by the time Rihanna retires, maybe Rihanna will even get 25 #1's and beat Mariah Carey.

Rihanna lazy and dumb???? Her hard work and IDJ's hardwork has gotten them to almost 5 million albums sold , 3 big smash singles , and a massive world tour. Stop ****ing complaining.
She can sell 6 million albums and ya ass would still be negative.

What about Fading is a smash to you? It's a ballad so it would still face the same struggles as CKB, minus having the commercial and crossover appeal. You saying Fading would do better than CKB sounds just like the people who said MD would smash, to me.
And Avril can't even sell her own records. We don't need her age-crisis ass showcased in a Rihanna video.

Fading is not singles material. I don't think this era has been handled poorly but, I believe it was a mistake to release 2 singles.

Drake may not be the most good looking person, but I'm sure he will always treat his girlfriends right and he has always been nice to Rihanna.

Fading would easily be a bigger hit than California King Bed and Man Down.
Fading is the Take A Bow of this era, easy to listen to, catchy, and guaranteed radio play.

Okay. And those sales could be better. I'm not being negative, I'm being a stan, so check yourself the next time you respond to me because the rudeness is not necessary.
I'm complaining because she's being mediocre right now. Both OG and S&M only hit #1 because of last-ditch desperation efforts. Not to say I'm not glad they did, but it shouldn't have to come down to ploys like that.
The promotion for this whole CKB/MD has been whack as hell. Tell me why the hell she performed CKB twice on big venues over a month before it was even released? Those were both wastes of sales, because the song slipped off the Top 100 afterwards. Then she gets to open a second award show this era, and instead of performing the new singles she just released, she chooses to perform a song that's already peaked and is falling down the charts? That is stupidity. Sorry if you can't recognize it.
