The Edge of Glory is one of those songs I want to hear on the radio in the middle of the city at night. I have the same feelings with songs like Forever. I love that feeling.

I agree. Something about the nighttime makes the songs sound more magical. I can't put my finger to why it is like that.

The Edge of Glory really isn't a party song imo. I'd be shot if I ever even put it on at a party. And I haven't heard it in any clubs yet. [though I haven't been really going out alot recently.]
