To get it, he only has to outsell ADELE by 30K now, a trial much more difficult that it seems.

Neither #11 or #12 deserve to kick Coldplay's best song since 2003 out of the Top 10. Although I will say #11 is much, much worse than #12.

Wrong, wrong..
And OH SO WRONG!!!
This is probably Coldplay's worst single, in my opinion.. it's messy, and I couldn't even get through the whole song.. maybe like half of it, if I remember correctly. And I even gave it a second chance, and I still wasn't feeling it, not even a little.
As for those two great songs sitting behind them, Jason is my 6th favorite artist and that song is great.. though it's a sample, it's still amazing and worthy of the top 10, which it hasn't reached since it came on iTunes but came very close multiple times. But as of right now, 'Tonight Tonight' is highly addictive and a bit better than DWGH, but I'd be very happy to see one, if not both, having success.
Besides, Coldplay's song isn't even their official first single (if I remember correctly), so it wouldn't be a big deal if it fell.

Pitbull's type of success is nothing new. T-Pain, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nicki Minaj, Nate Dogg and a slew of others have been featured/hook *****s. Damn, I remember his "Kulo" days.

Tonight Tonight may take the title away from Grenade for most cringe worthy vomit inducing single for me

Fixed. There are a lot of cringe-worthy songs in/near the Top 10 right now. Summer usually attracts them.
Last year was Billionaire & arguably Cooler Than Me. I liked the latter, but barely, until it got overplayed & now I also consider it cringe-worthy.

I havent had the displeasure of being bombarded with The Lazy Song on radio yet. Grenade would be on like all 4 major NYC radio stations at once, it was inescapable

"Billionaire" and "Cooler Than Me" were terrible. "Billionaire" was so full of cheese, and "Cooler Than Me" was missing a hook. I cannot stand "The Lazy Song." I got that Mars wanted to be different and release something other than a ballad, but TLS? It was a hit, so I doesn't matter. "The Other Side" should have gotten a proper release.

I haven't heard The Lazy Song much either. Bruno is getting very annoying, I've heard his voice overplayed on radio for over a year now & I can't take much more of it. He needs to take a break, but that's personal opinion. Some people can't get enough of him, & I do respect that he can at least sell albums unlike his fellow male peers all over Top 40 radio like Jason, Taio. Jay Sean & whoever else I forgot.

Please Don't Go was miles better than Cooler Than Me. It was more infectious & worthy to saturate Top 40 radio. But it failed to reach the Top 10, while Cooler Than Me spent weeks there. Sometimes I don't get the public's taste.
What scares me is that Bruno's obvious choice for next single is Marry You, which is just as cheesy as The Lazy Song. Bruno songs & hooks are just very cheesy in general. Nothin' On You is his very best, as a featuring or lead artist, in my opinion.

I think his cheesiness makes him appealing, but I can only deal with it in doses.

I only like Grenade. Just the Way You Are is so terrible but it's the biggest radio hit of the past year.

Katy up to #16 Shania #30
I Wanna Go isn't moving. :-/. Radio adds date in 2 days We need the video to give it a boost.

I thought IWG would be moving a little bit faster considering its being used in a commercial on Bravo right now repeatedly

I was an instant fan of JTWYA, despite its cheesiness and sappiness. It took me a while to digest "Grenade." I don't think I will ever like "The Lazy Song." I hope he has something else in store for next album. Hopefully, this lubby dubby/corny side of him is just an introduction and not something we should expect every time he releases something.

Liquor Store Blues is my fave single he has released. And he didnt even give it a proper push on Urban or anything. Our First Time should come next. His R&B songs are better for me.
